Yes it works perfect with home kit! Great light for HomeKit
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.This LIFX bulb does work with Homekit. It also has it's own app that you use to set-up a connection between your wifi, device, and the bulb. THe final steps fo the set-up wizard (or Homekit itself, not sure) prompts you to add it to your smart home via Home Kit. ONce installed, you have the option of asking SIRI to control the color, brightness, and to turn off and on the bulb. Additionally, on the slide in homescreen, you can also manually turn the bulb on and off. For more functionality and automated controls, you can download the IFTTT app to create trigger events that cause the Bulb to operate per your preferences. For example, I connected my Ring security system with the bulbs so that the lights turn on immediately at full brightness when the motion sensor is activated on my property (outdoors). There are other integrations possible depending on the apps you run in your home.
