• It should work without a problem. You still need some type of modem/router for internet, etc.

• I currently have one port directly connected to Roku 3. I also have a second port connect to my Directv cable box. SoI see no reason you couldn't connect your Tivo. I hope this helps.

• It should work for any wired network device with a 10,100, or 1000 Ethernet port.

• Yes! Tivo DVR's talk with Minis etc reliably across this and other switches and wireless extenders in Bridge mode only. They don't work across wireless extenders that are routing using NAT and local DHCP. If you have an extender in place, be sure to put it in Bridge mode.
