It should work without a problem. You still need some type of modem/router for internet, etc.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I currently have one port directly connected to Roku 3. I also have a second port connect to my Directv cable box. SoI see no reason you couldn't connect your Tivo. I hope this helps.

They don't work across wireless extenders that are routing using NAT and local DHCP. If you have an extender in place, be sure to put it in Bridge mode.
