I have a modem with wifi built in and I have another router connected to the modem through ethernet cable that I use for far away rooms and I tried using it for xbox one with a ethernet cable but double nat problem. Will this fix that. null

Hi. Yes, since the Linksys SE3005 is an unmanaged Gigabit Ethernet switch. Which means it does not have NAT security.

There is no info about type of modem and router and their speeds their speeds. If it is not a gigabit router do it is possible that you may choke the speed . Connecting gigabit switch may resolve issue. Please verify also that network cable does not have issues.

you can either disable the DHCP in the second router, or buy this and replace the 2nd router.

You do not need the second router. Remove the second router and use this instead in the gaming room. The live internet wire goes into the specified slot and the other slots are for whatever you hardware in. Buy one with more slots than you think you need for just in case you end up with additional needs later on.

This is a HUB. so if you have a cat 5e from the router that works then this splits that connection. how long is your cat5e? i have had 100 ft on many routers work just fine.
