Hi, dpe. This wireless adapter supports the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz frequencies, at the same time supporting the 20 MHz, 40 MHz and 80 MHz channel widths. As long as your computer doesn't have a Wi-Fi capability, it should work fine with this adapter once properly configured.
