A:AnswerYes, Ionfuel. You can disable the EA6700 router's wireless function. You make check this link out as reference: https://www.linksys.com/us/support-article?articleNum=136623.
A:AnswerHi. The router is compatible with most modems. As for its Wi-Fi coverage, it will depend on your home design. Too much physical interference (such as thick walls) will limit the coverage of the router.
A:AnswerNote that this device is a router not a modem or a gateway. It will NOT replace your Comcast gateway or modem. If you have a gateway, you can use this router with it but the gateway has to be in bridge mode. Depending on the other services you have, your gateway may need to stay in bridge mode; in that case, you will not be able to use the router effectively.
A:AnswerNot sure about Latin America, but I am using this now in Asia (purchases in US), and I had used earlier model of Linksys (also bought in US) in other parts of the world
So I don’t see any problem using this anywhere
Power voltage is not a problem as it takes 110 and 220 VAC
A:AnswerHi, pcharles. Please refer to this link to know the system requirements of the Linksys EA6700 router, https://www.linksys.com/us/support-article?articleNum=138277.
A:AnswerYes. But Edge is just IE with a facelift, and relies on old things buried in dark parts of Windows where few dare to go.
If i Edge doesn't take you right to the router page when you plug your computer in to it and enter the IP in Edge, open your control panel -> Internet Options -> Connections tab -> Lan Settings (bottom right) -> Make sure "Automatically detect settings" is on, and if you don't know what it all means and why you need it, the others need to be off. Save/ok your way out and give it another try. If it doesn't work, a reboot should do it.
.... also I love seeing official Linksys staff telling people they will need an old Windows 8 computer to set up the Router. It's not true and would be blindingly stupid if it was. "Yeah, if you buy this house you can park in the garage. But you need to park a '67 Camaro here first to unlock it." Except this guy was serious. And in all this time no one else there has removed it. That's gold.
