Hi. Please note that the Linksys EA7450 is a dedicated router and cannot function as a modem. We suggest that you verify with your ISP if you need a dedicated router or a gateway (modem/router) to make sure. Should you have further questions, feel free to email us at LinksysCares@linksys.com.
