• Yes! I have Xfinity Comcast as my internet provider and just bought this WiFi router recently. It has worked great so far, a very noticeable improvement from one I had from Bellingham that was a few years old. I have been happy with this purchase!

• The item you are considering is a wireless router and should work in conjunction with a cable modem; however, will not work as a cable modem. See connection of wireless router to cable modem in the modems documentation. It seems you are looking for a cable modem, if so look up cable compatible cable modems for Comcast on their website.
