• This is a wireless router, not a modem or uverse access box. So, yes - it will work with whatever internet service youi have, but it won;t replace your modem from the carrier. You have to connect this with an ethernet cable to the uverse modem.

• It should work. My service is a different Fiber Optic provider and it works great.
