Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. All I can tell you is you can't connect at least a printer, nor anything else as best I can tell, if you're using a Mac with an OS later than 10.10 (current Mac OS is 10.13.4). In order to connect to the USB (at least a printer), you need to download LinkSys's USB Control Center app, which needs aa SXUPTP driver. This driver is NOT compatible with the newer Mac OSs (newer than several years ago), so it doesn't download, and you're out of luck trying to connect devices to the USB ports. Very disappointing as I bought this unit partially because it had the USB ports and I planned on connecting about 5 devices (printers, a flatbed scanner, an Optical R/W drive, and a couple more) using a hub. Until LinkSys gets around to updating their USB Control Center, I'm unable to do this. Very perturbing.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.A formatted HDD is very easy to connect. I have a Seagate 3gB connected to it via the USB3 port.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I moved my external hard drive directly from another router to this one with no formatting required.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes needs a formatted disk for connect. If you don't specify your own label it uses the Unix default ones too which are not descriptive enough.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You can only connect a external hard drive to this device.
