It does support Verizon, but the just keep in mind that this is not the modem. You still have to have the Modem in order to receive the connection from Verizon. The router simply distributes the signal that you get from them so make sure that you have a modem as well.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It can most likely be used with Verizon as long as you are not trying to replace their modem with this router. Just take an Ethernet cable from the back of the Verizon box and plug it into the internet port on the back of the Linksys and follow the instructions included with the Linksys to set it all up.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The router is universal and will work with any phone service provider. Best router on the planet you will not be disappointed.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Assuming you have FiOS and using the provided actiontec red wifi box known as the moca. Plug in the ea9500 into the back actiontec. Connect to the ea9500 and tell it you want to configure manually. Then set it up to send traffic through actiontec. Turn off actiontec wifi. Done. The actiontec is required for Verizon VOD and the channel guide. The above setup is how I have mine setup, but because of an upstream firewall.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This is a wireless router, and can be used with any internet service. It sounds as if you're not super techie, so let me add this - it will not replace your cable modem or fios box - you still need that, but this router would get connected via an ethernet cable to the FIOS box.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.yes, but you need to turn off the router portion of the Fios router and use it as a modem only
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hook it up to the WAN port from verizons Internet feed , that's it
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, it should work with any sort of ISP because it is a WiFi router, and NOT a modem; cable modem, DSL modem, FIOS modem, etc. The purchase of a provider-specific approved modem would also be required in addition to this router. Having a separate modem and WiFi router is preferable IMHO to enable identifying/segmenting connectivity issues, and portability between providers, if applicable. Just buy an inexpensive cable or DSL modem that is approved by your ISP (internet service provider) and hook this router up to it.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It's a router. All you need to do is hook it up to a modem.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hi. As long as your Internet Service Provider supports broadband Internet connection such as a cable or DSL modem with RJ45 (Ethernet) connection, it should work. You may check out this link for the setup process: (http://www.linksys.com/us/support-article?articleNum=142526).
