• Hi, Jakhart. You can connect the RE6300 to the router wired or wirelessly, either way it should work fine. If it’s connected wirelessly, you can use the Ethernet port of the extender to connect a wired device.

• this Device is meant to extend your WiFi signal. You don’t need to connect any wires to it. Just set it up with the instructions that come within the box.
