Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.you will first plug it in to an outlet close to your router, press the sync button on our router and the extender. once the light turns green on the extender, you are done. then you can move it (plug it in) to a middle location of your home.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hi Trish. It is best to place the range extender where it can get at least three (3) wireless signal bars from the router. However, the device has a spot finder feature which will help you to find a good location for the device. The spot finder feature will show up during the installation
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Think of wifi like a bubble, now add another bubble that touches the first one, everything in the new bubble works like the first bubble
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I recommend the Linksys AC750. I basically finds your existing WiFi signal and retransmits it using a new SSID to increase your WiFi's broadcast range. It includes a setup tab the tells you if it is placed at the optimal distance from your existing Wifi Router to provide the best boost.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I recommend trying to find a outlet somewhere in between the to places that you need signal strength. I had the same problem and everything works fine now.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The initial setup you have to do it near your current router. Just plug the extender on any outlet and do the setup. Once the setup is complete then you will put it on any outlet you decide. I would recommend trying an outlet in the middle of the computer room and the smart TV room... You wont loose any speed on your network and it will give you more coverage.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The directions are pretty straight forward. I'm not that tech savie myself and had it installed in 15 mins. But yes the extender will go in the room where u need the extra coverage as long as its not too far away from ur existing router, u may need to put the extender in the next room over if that's the case.
