• All this does is extend signal from your own router. This will not make the internet go faster. Think of it like this. You put larger gas tank in your car to go further but it doesn’t make a Chevy or Ford into a Ferrari.

• Hi Pat. The Linksys RE6300 works with most gateway or Wi-Fi router. As long as the range extender can connect to your Internet Service Provider’s Wi-Fi network, then it’ll be able to work fine.
