Mind you this is only my opinion, my wifi router is in the house and I placed this extender in my detached garage behind the house in order to reach the back yard carport used as a patio. It works fantastic, I will have to say I had trouble with set up but I called customer service and they walked me thru setup step by step which was great. So to answer you question yes I think it would work.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It may, Jack. Just ensure the range extender is getting at least 50% of your router’s Wi-Fi signal or is located midway between your router and the area without Wi-Fi.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Placement of booster is important but should work just fine.
