• You just need to plug it up near the router to get it started and press the WAP button on the extender to get it to connect to the router. Once it is connected to the router you can move it to where you need it. There is no monthly fee for this device. It has helped speed up the WiFi upstairs.

• Hi! You only need a browser with the latest version for the setup. Also, there's no monthly fee when using the device, as the Linksys RE6300 is for extending your existing network.
