The camping area we go to has wi-fi too and if there are not many people there, we can normally connect but on busier week-ends, it's impossible to connect and stay connected. We have a travel trailer so we ended up buying a Prepaid AT&T Hotspot and before we go camping, we get a pre-paid card and activate it. My wife (yes, wife) uses it to connect the XBOX One to the internet so she can play her games and I've even played a couple of games of Halo using it. The only downside is the cost - the AT&T Prepaid Cards are around $50 for 5 gigs of data per month and if you don't use it, you lose it - no rollover.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I am guessing that your campground is providing the base wifi at a central point...similar to an office building. They would need to install several repeaters in various parts of the campground to relay the signal to users.

There are rugged, weather-resistant WiFi routers and access points (the receiver you want outside the structure needs only be an access point). However, these are specialty items and I am unsure what if any choices a Best Buy would have, and you may need to check with another online retailer.
