can the router and the modem be in two different locations and work ,, let me say the modem is in living room and the the router is in the bedroom , can they connect and have what i want null

As long as you have an ethernet connection in your house that can reach it, yes. My setup uses in-wall ethernet lines throughout my house, connected at a central point in my basement where my modem is. One of the ethernet lines is used to connect the router that I currently have upstairs to the modem downstairs.

Yea but you will need to run an ether net cord from your modem to the router

Mine are in the same room because there if a small telephone cord that connects from the router to the modem. I'm not sure if there is another way to set it up without that cord but I don't think so.

Yes, you can put the router and the modem in two different locations as long as you have a long Ethernet cable since you need to wire them together.
