Yes, the MR7350 (note: AX1800 is a Wifi standard, not the model name of the router) from Linksys is wireless, actually that's its primary purpose, though also have 5 or 6 Ethernet ports to connect wired units, and it's a mesh router, so you can deploy additional units (or other Linksys mesh devices, but be sure they are also Wifi 6 not to lose bandwidth for that area of the house). So how it works is that you start with one Internet wired connection in the house, like a DSL or Cable modem, or even a Wireless modem that is connected to your provider's Wireless network (that's a different kind of wireless, not the Wifi that your computers, tablets and other devices will connect to). You'll need to connect the MR7350 to that connection with a cable called an "Ethernet cable" a.k.a. CAT5 or CAT6, it goes into the yellow marked connector in your router. Follow the instructions of the Linsys App, and once it's set up, you can connect all your home devices within range to it. If your house is so big that you can't connect in some areas, just buy a 2nd one of these, set it up using the Linksys App, and it will connect to the first one and serve the additional area seamlessly.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hello! The Linksys MR7350 is capable of wireless connection. It has to be connected to an upstream device (modem/gateway) with an active internet connection. Feel free to email us your contact details and the link to this post at [email protected] should you have other concerns about the matter.
