“ISPs in my area do not provide wifi 6 (802.11ax) yet....they are currently still offering wifi 5 (802.11ac). That being said, will this router have backwards compatibility to wifi 5 and support my current devices that are wifi 5 compatible?”

I have the same issue, router works excellent, good to know once the Provider does upgrade the router will be able to handle it.

Yes this is backwards compatible and when they get wifi 6 you’ll be fine switching over.

Yes, Mike. The router is backwards compatible with AC, N, G, B, and A network standards.
