Hi, I have this adapter and you do not need a cable. It comes with a dvd that you load into your computer. After that, you just plug the adapter into your computer and you will connect to your router without any need of wires. Hope this helps!

Follow instructions and it will set it up for you. When you see that its working just select your network and input pw and you should be all set.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I found this to be a super easy install. I was using an old XP desktop. I had to use the install disk (included with the adapter) and it took about 1 minute for the whole install. Great answer to my connectivity question.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.It will work without a cable. Just plug it into a usb port, install drivers from disc and click on icon on the bottom right of your screen. You may have to enter the security number listed on your router.
