• Yes. I bought two of these for 2 older laptops that came with G speed modems. Disable the internal modem, plus this adapter into a high speed USB port if you have one, and Windows 7 and 10 installed it without any issues. I can now access my 5.0 ghz network and my 2.4 ghz network. Added years of service to our laptops, and our download speeds improved significantly.
