Hard to tell without more details. If the issue is that your tivo cannot see the wifi because is too far (and the signal is weak) . Have you tried moving the mini closer to your router? How about restarting your router? If the problem is with the tivo then chances are this won't fix your issue. If the problem is with the router, either doing a reset or a firmware upgrade may help. Perhaps replacing it will also do the trick.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I'm not sure. It probably depends on what router system you currently have and what the issue is for the mini not to recognize the system. My guess is that the Velop would fix your issue but I wouldn't guarantee that. I'm not familiar with the TiVo Bolt and it's Minis, it might be an issue with them.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Sounds to me like it's something else happening here. I doubt that is your issue, but I won't hurt. These things are pretty awesome for me so far.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You can try. All I can say is that this product solved my problem to extend my Wi-Fi to where I needed it.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Sorry, I do not know anything about TiVo. However all our equipment connected without issue. iPads, iPhones, TV, even the Wi-Fi water heater control out in the garage. iHome devices too were not a problem.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I’m not familiar with the TiVo Bolt or Mini, but the nodes connect to each other and as long as they connect, your WiFi signal will be broadcast through the coverage area.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. If the problem is no network signal at the location of your second Mini, then yes.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. We had to work with the Customer Service representatives ... had similar issue. I would recommend talking with them directly. Keep at it and get to the BEST person to assist you with setting up the 2nd Mini.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. My gut reaction is to say that it will most likely solve your problem due to it's expanded range of coverage. If you have any way of measuring your wi-fi signal strength (there are tons of smartphone apps) to find your signal deadzones, you may find that the location of your second mini is in one of those areas. On my older system I had to install signal boosters (repeaters) to alleviate that problem, but this system wiped out all the deadzones for me.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Do you know how your 1st Mini is connected? The Tivo Mini connects via MOCA coax cable OR CAT5 network cable. It does not have a wireless connection option. You either need to enable MOCA networking on the Tivo and the Mini, or you need to connect a CAT5 cable to the Mini. You could set up a Linksys Velop system and place 1 near the Mini and then connect the Mini to the Velop via CAT5 cable. That would connect the Mini to your network. Or you can connect the Mini to a Coax cable. Ensure that the coax also connects back to your Bolt and ensure MOCA networking is enabled on both devices. (NOTE: There will likely be coax splitters somewhere in between the 2 devices. Ensure that the coax splitters don't filter 500Mhz - 1.5Ghz as those frequencies are used for MOCA).
