“Can i add these to extend my network? I currently have a Linksys EA8300 and it seems as though, by the app, that I can add these as a new Velop System on to p of the router to extend my network. Is that correct, I'm sorry for the rookie question.”

Yes you can I have 3 with 8 devices, but I pay for 1 Gig Down. I have Velop tri-band mesh with 3 nodes.
