• No it does not they just plug into the wall. The phone app walks you through the install very easy

• Our system only requires the main unit to be plugged into the Ethernet from the modem. The other unit is completely wireless, but can be directly wired if needed (example-an old computer with no WiFi). Hope this helps!!

• I haven't set mine up yet but the main pod needs to be connected to the ethernet port in your router/modem and the second pod connected to a power out and will provide whole house coverage.
