• Yes, this only disperses your Internet. You also need relatively high bandwidth for this to be worth what you're paying.

• Yes you do. This is just a wireless router. You will need internet coming into the router from a modem or other source of internet like you would any other wifi solution.

• Jean, Yes! The Velop system is not an internet provider. It is a whole home wireless mess network to carry your internet connection seamlessly throughout your home or business. You must still have access to the internet via a service provider and modem.

• Yes. This connects to your cable modem. It does not provide Internet access. . Only distributes around your house. You still need to pay for Internet access.

• Yes, service providers like Comcast, AT&T, Verizon, RCN etc. offers you the actual internet service. Linksys Velop is a wireless router which will enable you to wirelessly access the internet anywhere in your house.
