A:AnswerHey Jimbo,
If you're referring to bandwidth as data usage in a given amount time, then it really just depends on the quality you're streaming:
High quality: 115.2 MB/hr
Standard quality: 23 MB/hr
Regardless of your router, these numbers will be constant. These are tri-band units meaning they will be ready to handle a lot of devices on the network at once.
A:AnswerDo you mean the Cisco DPQ3212? If so, then it should. The Velop is supposed to be compatible with pretty much all routers. The internet coming into your house has to connect to the Cisco router and then you'll come out of the router from the Ethernet connection with your Cat 5 or 6 Internet line to your first Velop. Hope this helps.
A:AnswerMany people out there that write reviews get products ahead of time to test and review. The reviews are not fake. I just submitted a review of my own.
A:AnswerYes. Our Smart TV and Xbox One are wirelessly connected to the Velop nodes and work great. You cannot use an ethernet cable from the 2nd or 3rd node to have wired connection - at least not yet, per my conversation with Linksys.
A:Answerthe rental thing is actully not named router, it called modem.
so no, it cant replace your modem, cuz its just a router.
Modem=reciver internet from verizon
Router= make the internet wireless
Buy an verizon gateway g1100 for $99, you can save up $120 for a year.
A:AnswerHi, Bunnie. We would like to dig into this further. Let’s try to reboot the modem along with the velop nodes to refresh the network. Let’s also make sure that the nodes are running on the latest firmware version. Email your contact details and the link to this post at [email protected]. Our Escalation Engineers will assist you from there.
A:AnswerContact Linskys customer service. Absolutely great people and worked to resolve set up issues with one call. The are 24/7 and the number I used 1 800 326 7114. Fred
A:AnswerPlug in the mother node first into the modem. Plug in the next closest then the furthest last for optimal range. I have Mother node plus 5 system.
A:AnswerHi, GaryB. The Linksys Velop AC2200 Tri-Band Mesh Wi-Fi 5 System, like any router/Mesh system, will be dependent on the internet connection it receives from the source. Upgrade to the Tri-band model is the best option as long as it is properly configured and equipped with the latest firmware, as each node is expected to cover up to 2,000 square feet, for a total of 6,000 square feet for three nodes.
