• I use Fios and so far, so good. I disabled the wifi on the existing Actiontec router and plugged the first node into that via Ethernet. No issues.

• I would recommend keeping the fios modem, disabling the wireless on it to ensure no interference.

• I doubt it. FIOS uses a cable modem with wireless router abilities built in. If you can disable the wireless router function on the FIOS cable modem, it should work. It replaces the wireless router but not the cable modem. Call FIOS for specifics.
