very easy, just put it in a plastic box then outside, that is what I do.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have put one of my nodes outside. But it is in a covered patio, so there is no exposure to water. It does snow where I live so it gets down to 0 deg F and as high as 95 F and it works fine.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It is not weatherproof, but the nodes reach 1800ft
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No where in the documentation does the Velop system claim to be waterproof. I strongly recommend NOT placing one outside. These nodes are strong signal carriers, so if you need a good signal outside of your home, simply place one near an outer wall or window where you wish to get the best signal and you should be in good shape. Alternatively, if you have an outbuilding such as a detached garage or shed with power, you might be able to connect your node this way and extend the signal into your outdoor space.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No, Velop nodes are not rated for outdoor use.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. There are holes on the top of the router for cooling, so I wouldn't expect this to be weather proof.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I wouldn't leave them in the elements, they must be plugged in for power as well. You could take it outdoors in good weather as long as you stay within range of the main node, but I wouldn't leave it out..
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No, not weather proof.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Absolutely not. The nodes are open on 3 sides and the AC adapters are not IPX rated, so you're asking for damage to the nodes and their power adapters.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Definitely not, they are full of vent holes so I would imagine any moisture would damage them permanently.
