Will this unit interfere with my AT&T gateway? Its wifi must remain on for TV receivers. Will changing the channels help? null

Let it pick it's own channels. If they do overlap you can manually change the channels.

It won’t. It searches for the best, open unused path. Should be fine.

Set this up as a bridge and turn off the wifi from your router. As a bridge system you shouldn't have an issue. If you run it with the routers Wifi you will have interference issues. I have ATT interent with an ARRAY router and set this up as a bridge system. Works great! No issues. My Hue hub and MyQ hub are connected directly to ATT router.
