“First node plugs into router, can I place 2 node as far as I can away from 1st node but keeping good signal, then can I place 3rd node as far away from 2 node for max distance? Do nodes get signal from node 1 or from nearest other node?”

Plug in the mother node first into the modem. Plug in the next closest then the furthest last for optimal range. I have Mother node plus 5 system.
