Honestly, you never know how well it will work until you actually buy the product and try it out. I would buy it from a bricks and mortar Best Buy to make return/exchange easier, if necessary. There are so many factors that will affect range (line of sight, walls, wood vs steel structure, other WiFi devices, etc.)

It should. Our WiFi router is in our detached garage and our house is concrete block....works like a charm. We have two acres and we have coverage everywhere. No more dead zones like before. Very Pleased.

It will work if it is not to far. Mine works out about 300 feet.
