Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.You must have an internet connection of some sort in order to download the Linksys app on an iOS or Android device in order to set the Velop up. It does provide it's own DHCP, but only on the 192.168.1.0 network. You can reserve IPs once they are assigned. Once the network is set up, with or without the internet, any connection between devices on the same network will be able to share files.
