I have an xbox and purchased this router due to constant connectivity issues playing Rainbow Six Siege. Not only was this by far the easiest router I have ever set up, it is the fastest. My ping instantly dropped lower than any of my friends. No more connection issues. It even solved an issue that I didn't expect and that is I can now directly connect to one of my friends that I could never directly connect to before. I still have never opened any ports on this router and my NAT type has been open since the install. Only thing I can't tell you is that mine is connected via cable rather than wireless so I can't help you there. Signal strength is great around my house though and outside. Also priority system is much easier to use compared the the Netgear I had.

Just remember to keep the packaging and receipt but i am pretty sure you wont be returning it after you try the product.

Please try again later.this router will boost the signal strength and using mu-mimo you'll get a dedicated stream of data transmission at high speed. depending on distance and location, if not completely eliminating lag, it will greatly reduce it. i have a ps4 and with this i get no lag in WiFi

Please try again later.Not matter what, a hard line connection is better than WiFi; with respect to that, it will be a bit slower but not laggy: unless you live in like a 3000sqft home. In regards to a regular router or modem router combo, it will be faster than majority of the options out there, plus I don't know any other product that auto prioritize everything that's connected to it; putting your gaming needs first.
