• A:Answer I traded my number no problem. Used this Live!y number to talk to the representative instead of the number on the front of the box. 800-733-6632 . I have used a few previous versions of GreatCall, Jitterbug, Live!y phones and I like this one best. It boots up faster and has more options in the menu to turn off button sounds, capitalize or not when entering saved numbers (Contacts), to send text to a saved contact, etc.

• A:Answer Regardless of where you buy the phone, you will need to call the number on the box to set up the phone. The whole process takes about 20 minutes. So basically you don't need anyone to help you activate the phone. It's best you do it instead of a store employee since lively needs sensitive information and the employee will just have to hand you the phone anyway to complete the set up.

The Lively Flip does have the option to block phone numbers, but that would block the calls from coming into the phone.
