A: Can't turn it off when call or text has been missed even after I've checked to see what was missed... very annoying!
Q: How to delete missed calls from Lively flip phone
A: THE ANSWER IS INCORRECT. If you use the menus to clear all of your call history, it does NOT clear missed calls. They still remain up there, unwanted. Please answer the question correctly. Is there a way to delete missed calls? If not, they will eventually fill up memory. Is there a limit to the number of missed calls that will be displayed? Thank you in advance for your attention to this.
A: NO! I cannot find such an option. This is a HUGE problem for my 87-yr-old mother. I wish I saw this comment before we bought it. I *specifically* bought this New "Lively FLIP" cell phone (formerly called Jitterbug) assuming one would be connected to the caller when the flip top was opened. But no--- she has to 1) first flip open the cover AND then 2) find the "OK" button AND then 3) press the "OK" button (a non-descript button buried in the third row). She has a hard time with this. They could have at least made the "OK" button larger and/or Green. WTH! As such, she's unable to answer calls. NOT GOOD - as I now have to leave work & drive to her house to make sure she is ok (she had a bad fall last month). With her previous flip phone there was an immediate connection once the top was flipped open. The inability to EASILY answer a phone call is a major deal breaker for me. This phone is going back- such a huge waste of my time & money. This is NOT an "easy-to-use" cell phone for the elderly.
A: I have it on the maximum volume and the sound quality is still very weak - I have good hearing and compared to my iphone, the sound quality is just horrible - considering that this phone is designed for seniors who generally have hearing difficulties, one would think more effort would have gone into the design of the phone to ensure superior sound quality.
Q: What carrier does the Lively Flip use?
A: It used to have a special carrier. Now u use any carrier. I go thru the Spectrum line here. In Phila I use Verizon
Q: DOES THIS LIVELY FLIP CELL PHONE HAVE "CALL BLOCK" AND "MSG BLOCK" ? ? ?
A: Hello, thank you for your interest in our new Lively Flip phone. The phone does have the blocking feature available that allows you to block specific numbers from calling the phone.
A: The Lively has upgraded some specs and adds Alexa. But since it removed speed dial and Alexa integration is buggy and requires a multi step conversation to make a call, the original Jitterbug is a better option for those less technical or vision-impaired. After trying to make it work, I had to switch my mom back to the Jitterbug.
Q: Is this phone compatible with TMobile service?
A: I did use with an ATT SIM card and it works without problems...
