Great question! To utilize the WhatsApp, requires access to the internet and the Flip2 does not have access, however, our Jitterbug Smart3 does have access and the application can be found in the Google Play Store for downloading. You would not be able to use an international sim for calling outside of the US for either of our phones. You could utilize the WhatsApp on the Smart3 to video chat with someone that also has the application. Please keep in mind that when using the WhatsApp, you will use data unless you are connected to wi-fi. Additionally, our service is only available in the U.S. and we cannot guarantee coverage outside of the United States. If the phone is able to connect to a network and can make/receive calls abroad, then international usage rates apply.
