  • QuestionMy mother has existing Verizon month-to-month service; how hard is it to transfer that number to this GreatCall service? I plan on the 1000 minute one. If she doesn't like the phone, how long do we have to return it? Any cancellation fees? Thanks.

    • Answer Hello Jim, we offer a 30 day return period that allows you to cancel the service and receive a refund on the activation fee minus the restocking fee within 30 days of starting the service. You will need to follow up with the store the phone is purchased from for their return policy on the phone. GreatCall may be able to transfer a number from another carrier as long as the number is still active. We will need the information from the previous account and port out pin maybe required.

    • Answer No, You will need to go to Great Call. they have some pretty good programs especially if this is for a senior. My mother is 83 and she had no interest in texting or surfacing the web. So it was cheaper to go through Great Call.
