A:AnswerLinda - see this pdf on Livescribe's site with a table of the differences - this one is the Livescribe 3, the other is the Livescribe Echo. http://www.livescribe.com/en-us/media/pdf/ls_smartpens_comparison_chart_ls3_echo.pdf
A:AnswerYou have to use paper specific for livescribed but you can get notesbooks as low as 8 dollars if you don't want to spend money then you can print it online... it is worth the investment for saving time and productivity I highly recommended it!
A:AnswerYes, works great with the iPad Pro. There are several apps you can download, including the Livescribe+ app, which will transcribe any notes you write down on the livescribe dot-paper, and allow you to export them to either OneNote or Evernote (depending on what service you prefer). Don't forget that Best Buy does price match guarantee with Amazon. So, whenever you go by this, make sure you check around and see if there's any better price, I happened to get mine for a great deal at Best Buy because of price match.
I hope this helps
