You can not change the colors on the plain blue 502. You need the 502 Spectrum.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.It is controlled by software. However the Core version can't change colors. It just stays a bright blue. The Proteus Spectrum will change colors for about $10 more

There is an other model that is the same mouse and everything just the ability to change colors (Logitech - G502 Proteus Spectrum) . Hope that helped!
