Hey there JARS! The G513 is a mechanical keyboard, and this particular version has "clicky" keys, meaning they're a bit louder than a standard office keyboard. Personally, I love the feel of a mechanical keyboard, so I can use mine all day long in an office environment and not complain, but in the end it's going to come down to personal preference. -Weston from Logitech
