When using the G635 Wired 7.1 Surround Sound Over-the-Ear Gaming Headset for PC with LIGHTSYNC RGB Lighting in 3.5mm (non-powered) connected to the an Xbox controller, features that require USB power, including lighting functions, are not available wont be available without the USB connection. - Mathieu from Logitech
