I had that same issue with the Romer G keyboard that you speak of. I had that issue with the G513 keyboard. But, no I haven't that issue occur with this keyboard. However, only time will tell. I have had this keyboard for about 7 months. My last keyboard didn't have that issue occur to me until I owned it for about a year and a half. So I hope this information helps.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hi HarryC, The keys used for the G815 Mechanical Gaming Keyboard are the newer, lower profile GL mechanical switches---half the height of the Romer-G switches. More specifically, the G815 uses the GL Clicky which give you an audible click and tactile feedback. As far as the issue of random keys losing the ability to show blue, Logitech always works to update their firmware via the G Hub software and if there is a hardware defect that causes such a problem, the G815 does have a 2-year limited hardware warranty. Hope that this helped and that all is going well. - Richard from Logitech
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have not had that experience with mine and I have had it for three months. In fact, I use the blue lights almost exclusively and have had no problems with the lights.
