- Answer Not entirely. They aren’t noise canceling, they’re more noise enhancing. They pick up most of not all background noise.

- Answer I use this headset at work because the network will not except the 3.5mm jacks with any realiability. The USB connector on the headset works perfectly and there's no software to install, Hope this helps.
