Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.You set it up with a computer and the info is stored in the computer. You can connect the remote control with the computer and transfer the set up from the computer to the remote control. Also you do not lose set-up info when the battery loses charge.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.All programming is not lost. You replace the batteries and then the remote does go through a small sequence of calibration. I believe it's about 5 or 6 buttons(takes about 30 seconds). Not a big deal.
