What type and how many batteries does it take? null

2 AA batteries and they come in the box

Two AA's. They last a very long time.

it takes two AA batteries. been using it frequently for about a month now still on the origianl batteries. i do howerever shut it off when i remember when finished with it. the shut off switch is just over the edge of the top of the keyboard just to the left above the logitech name printed on the upper right corner.

It requires 2 AA batteries (included).
