It DOES work on the Toshiba Fire TV Edition. I can't speak for Insignia one, but it works great on my Toshiba.

It is designed for Windows based devices, which the Amazon ones are not. Furthermore, it needs a large (PC type) USB port which they do not tend to have.

Not sure but as long as there's a hdmi connector it's should work just fine and its work really good with asus chrome stick

Yes! That's what I used this keyboard for. Plug the USB tool in the back of the Amazon Square Box and you are connected via bluetooth.
