no should just plug and work try hooking to tv usb should work.possibly usb on pc bad try another.if you have windows 10 probably set to wi fi

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Check to see if the batteries are good. Make sure the little tab that covers the battery contact is removed. This keyboard is plug and play and should work as soon as you plug the wireless receiver into your computer's USB port.
