I bought a Logitech keyboard and mouse combo. I unpacked it , plugged the usb into the wireless and neither the keyboard nor the mouse works. Does anyone have any ideas on what I should do? The mouse light is green for about a minute and then goes out.

Insure the batteries are inserted correctly and the switches are turned to the on position. Depending on your system, you may have to download the software to customize the components. Microsoft Windows 7 Updates provided a Logitech software update when I inserted the USB receiver. I have an older system and the USB 1.1 port didn't work with the receiver but no problems on new system with USB 2.0 or 3.0.

Make sure you pull the tabs at the battery locations and that the power switches are turned on. Also, it is always best to install the software before plugging anything in. Once the software is installed there is a wizard that will walk you through connecting the devises.

It takes a bit for the drivers to download. have your computer on and put the USB in... then wait for it to download the drivers. Mine worked like that, but took a few minutes

Have you tried fresh batteries? It is possible the batteries they sent you were defective. I do not recall any issues with mine.

Murphy I am assuming that you have added the batteries to each product and turned them on. Sometimes I have put the batteries in wrong so you might check that. Check that the USB is in correctly. After you've checked all of those, call the GEEK SQUAD to see if they can offer any suggestions. I've always found them to be very helpful. Good Luck!

I had this problem initially.
I uninstalled the hardware for my previous mouse and keyboard, then plugged in this set and it worked great. Hope this helps.
