Q: QuestionI bought a Logitech keyboard and mouse combo.I unpacked it , plugged the usb into the wireless and neither the keyboard nor the mouse works. Does anyone have any ideas on what I should do? The mouse light is green for about a minute and then goes out.

• A:Answer Insure the batteries are inserted correctly and the switches are turned to the on position. Depending on your system, you may have to download the software to customize the components. Microsoft Windows 7 Updates provided a Logitech software update when I inserted the USB receiver. I have an older system and the USB 1.1 port didn't work with the receiver but no problems on new system with USB 2.0 or 3.0.

Q: QuestionIs this a "multi device" keyboard? In other words can you use with two laptops? does it have the ability to switch between devices?

• A:Answer Hello JBQuestion, The Logitech MK710 is not a multi-device mouse and keyboard combo. There are comparable options available on BestBuy.com that are multi-device. The MK850 is a nice option. MK850 can pair up to 3 devices via Bluetooth or USB and is a “Flow Enabled” device (cross-computer control and file sharing). The MK850 combo comes with one Unifying USB receiver. I have attached a link below if you would like to explore this option. I recommend downloading the Logitech “Options” software, which is available on the Logitech support website. Please visit this support page. The “Downloads” tab has software downloads. I recommend downloading and running the “Firmware Update Tool” to ensure your USB receiver has the latest updates. This keyboard uses the “SetPoint” software for customizations, and for ideal performance. If you are still experiencing issues with certain keys, I would recommend running the “Unifying” software, and reestablishing the connection. If you still are experiencing issues after taking these steps, and rebooting the computer, please visit the Logitech support website for further assistance. • A:Answer No only on the keyboard but that display is hard to read unless you have a room with lights to see the indicators. Not sure how to make it brighter to see for the Display. This doesn't have the on-screen monitor indicator to see.
