• No, unfortunately this model doesn't include any onboard memory to save lighting profiles to, you must have the Logitech software installed to do that. The only thing you can do is cycle through the preloaded lighting settings.

• No, all of the lighting options use the drivers

• You can't use custom lighting without installing the drivers. It will just do a rainbow wave the entire time otherwise.

• Actually, no you can't. My keyboard only changes to my custom settings after I log into Windows and the drivers take control. On bootup, it just does a cycling rainbow pattern. :-(
